Kemp Smart i7u & i9u is a Water Filter & Ionizer. It purifies water and ionizes through the electrolysis chamber by removing acidic mineral salts and enhancing it with beneficial Alkaline Ionized Minerals and Hydrogen for drinking and Acidic Ionized Water for beauty and cleaning uses.

Alkalinity of the ionized alkaline water is contributed by concentration of alkaline mineral ions such as Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, Na⁺, K⁺ and acidic water is due to concentration of acidic mineral ions such as Cl^–, SO₄^2-, PO₄^3- from the water source. Nothing is added.

How does it works?

Stage 1 – Filtration

Water is first purified and energized through the specially designed KDF 55 ultrafine 0.01 micron purifying process. It removes bacteria, chlorine, chloramine, rust, sediments, heavy metals, harmful chemicals and substances from the source water.

Stage 2 – Ionization

Ionization means gaining or losing an electron. Purified water then passes through the ionization process (electrolysis) to split the minerals into alkaline and acidic. It removes acidic mineral salts and enhances it with beneficial alkaline ionized minerals. The ionization is done through the specially designed mesh platinum-titanium electrode water cell.

About Kemp Water Filter

Its water filter system incorporates calcium minerals to neutralise chemicals and increase mineral content, and its advanced space fibre filter materials for a 0.01M ultrafine filtration that keeps even bacteria out from your drinking water!

KDF 55 ultrafine 0.01 micron filter – Designed specifically for removing chlorine and water soluble heavy metals such as lead, mercury, nickel, chromium, and other dissolved heavy metals. It controls scale, bacteria, and algae, even with hot water.

KDF is known to kill algae and fungi, control bacteria growth and remove chlorine, pesticides, organic matter, rust, unpleasant taste and odour, hydrogen sulfide, iron, lead, nickel, chromium, cadmium, 
calcium, aluminum, mercury, arsenic and other organic compounds.

KDF has a wide spread of effectiveness against many impurities in water. KDF is optimised when used in conjunction with another filter media, especially any form of Activated carbon (whether in block OR granulated form).

Kemp Water Ionizer Plate Technology

Mesh Plate Technology – The ionization component consists of plates that are optimised to a square area of 10 square inches per side of a plate. The base metal is titanium, known for its toughness and 0.57 micron thickness of platinum is coated on top of that. This standard is further backed up through its ISO and GMP standards to ensure that top notch ionization quality is provided to our customers.

Rust-Free Electrode Plate

Kemp water ionizer’s electrode plate has always been and will always be rust-free guaranteed. Kemp Water Ionizer’s electrode plate is tested and certified by PSB TUV Singapore that the base plate is Titanium, coated with Platinum. This is to ensure optimum ionization performance and the material will not rust. That is why our water cell plates are guaranteed for life not to rust.
